De Rica Tomato Paste 400 g

De Rica is a tomato paste brand well known in African kitchens. One or two spoonfuls are all you need for a deep red tomato sauce, jollof rice, a meat stew or a sauce for grilled fish.
Fry it in the oil with the onions for a few minutes before adding the rest: your sauce will be less acidic and more flavourful.
Storage: once opened, transfer to a sealed container and keep in the fridge.
